Lowes has screwed up again. Materials aren’t here for the contractors on time so they are coming back tomorrow am. The first scheduled drop off was yesterday. Two days that I altered my plans. Nobody seems competent anymore. Sorry about the rant. Some of my old Nelson Ledges stuff for your time.

Top left picture looks like a Citation X11. I thought it was mine for a moment as I ran one in a Longest day. But it’s not mine. I would guess the year of these pics to be about 1985.......

You raced an X-11?! That’s one of my bucket list cars!
I think youre dead on with 85. In 86 those Capris would have had Bubble hatchbacks.

There isn’t a car in that field that I wouldn’t be proud to own.
I feel your pain. I recently had to wait 7 days for a replacement phone because, somehow, US Cellular shipped to an address I havent been at in 2 years. I missed a sweet deal on a 3 wheeler in that time. I already had a buyer too. Nobody cared. They still get paid good job or bad.

I think you guys are right on the year. I had just moved back from Texas about that time.

Yes, you could say I had an X-11 phase...... PS - I really towed with the X-11. Did 600 miles+ one way....

BTW, they were good, but not great race cars. Although the front suspension is similer in layout to a Porsche 944, I could never make mine turn like a 944. Whatever it had in engine, it gave up in having to brake to make the turn. I never figured it out and finally gave up and got a ‘88 CRX si. That was the best move I ever made. Is that your “Fester”
